Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Please understand, Healthy Spirit Fitness is a small business. Therefore, missed appointments without proper notice are costly for us and prevent us from being able to schedule other clients. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are in place:

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session will be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. You will be responsible for the full amount of the scheduled appointment time.

Early Departures

In the event that you have to leave early, thereby shortening the time of the appointment, you will still be billed for the full amount of the scheduled appointment.

Missed Appointments

In the event that you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment with us, please Contact Us 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment and we do not hear from you (via text, email, call, or voicemail) within that time frame, you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled appointment.

If you have missed an appointment without notice in the past or if you have previously cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be required to provide a non-refundable payment in full to book any future appointments.

Illness

Massage Therapy is not advised if you are ill. If you are symptomatic in any way (feel a cold coming on or just getting over one, any cough, fever, sore throat, stomach bug...) please Contact Us to reschedule your appointment. We know you do not want to pass any illness onto us, or by extension, our families and other clients. If you do arrive for your appointment symptomatic, you will not be treated and you will be charged for the full amount of your scheduled appointment.

Payment

Full payment is expected before or immediately after treatment in the form of cash, e-transfer, cheque, credit/debit, or gift certificate. All clients, whether they have received treatment or booked an appointment, are bound by this policy without prejudice or exemption.

 

Reminder: Missed or Cancelled appointments cannot be claimed through your benefits provider.
